Introduction

Finally, my Louis Alligator crochet pattern is available. Louis is the most difficult pattern that I have ever done. You may look at the picture and think that you need to be an advanced level crocheter. However, this pattern consists of a lot of simple shapes. The most difficult part is probably the leg. If you attempt this project, know that is going to be a time consuming one. This is because of the many parts that need to be crocheted and because you will have to sew each one on. Thankfully, the end result is well worth it (worth it enough that I’ve made him twice!) It was a lot less difficult the second time because I just had to follow the pattern that I made and make some alterations to Louis’ thigh. Hopefully, the step-by-step process is shown clearly and you find it easy to follow. I am always here if you need any assistance.

In January, there will also be tutorials released on how to turn my Avery and Arlo doll bases into Princess Tiana, Prince Naveen and Dr Facilier so that like me you can have a complete set if you wish to. The tutorial will include a PDF download with the template to make the felt clothes and a step by step pictorial. In the meantime, the Avery and Arlo doll bases can be found in my Etsy store here. Due to the length of this pattern I have opted to split the tutorial into 2 separate parts – the crochet pattern and the assembly tutorial.
