I am over the moon with how he turned out and Cheep Cheep has actually become one of my top 10 favourite Super Mario characters that I have made so far. I initially wanted him to be part of my phase 1 characters but I couldn’t figure out how I would do the mouth or wings. Thankfully after putting Cheep Cheep aside for a while the idea came to me and thankfully it all came together nicely. I considered needle felting the hair but, in the end, I opted to attach the hair using the doll hair method – which I think works better in terms of the overall look. What do you think? The approximate measurements using DK yarn and 3mm hook are 3.5 inches height, 3 inches width and 4.5 inches length/depth. As always if you have any problems just message me and I will be happy to help. Also if you do make any of my patterns I would love to see how they turned out! Materials
