Happy Holidays…December is here!!!

The last Mini tier pattern of 2023 is Ducky from Toy Story. This cute little guy is a simple pattern that does not take long to make, and the customisation is very basic too.

I chose to wire the legs, but this is optional depending if you want your Ducky to be able to stand on his own unaided or not.

Because this pattern is so basic, I decided to use flat kawaii safety eyes for a little added dimension. I added it after I had already crocheted the head because it only occurred to me to use them during the assembly process. However, if you do decide to use safety eyes too, then the order of assembly will differ slightly in that you will need to cut out and attach the eyes before you finish stuffing and closing off the head. I will put a reminder to attach the eyes in the pattern for those of you that choose to use this method.

Ducky’s overall measurements are approximately 5.5 inches / 14cm (including the hair) and 3.25 inches / 8cm wide at the widest point.
