The assembly for this pattern can be quite fiddly but it is well worth it. My Koopa Troopa is sort of a combination of my Buzzle Beetle, Wiggler and Birdo patterns – with a few new elements thrown into the mix. This resulted in a nice and quick turn around time for this character. This pattern does require the use of wire through the head and body for support to keep the head up. However, I didn’t need to use wire for the arms and legs. The approximate measurements using DK yarn and 3mm hook are 8.25 inches height, 6 inches width and 4 inches length/depth. Materials
