Sorry that’s is been a while, it has been a very busy time for me. There have been a few knock you off your feet events but there have also been some really lovely life is good moments too. I have been trying so hard to get back on track but like they say – Rome was not built in a day! Needless to say that my mind had been elsewhere but I am back and I have been trying to crochet like crazy to make up for the lost time. One thing that I was desperate to complete was the remaining Winnie the Pooh inspired amigurumi Friends – Rabbit, Owl and Roo.

In my previous post (found here) I showed you the journey that started with a Derpy Pooh Bear crochet pattern that I found by user Aphid777 on the website deviantart (her page is found here). It also led to the creation of Eeyore, Lumpy, Piglet and Tigger too. I stated that the collection still felt incomplete and that it wouldn’t be complete until I had Owl, Rabbit and Roo to make a full set. The great news is that the wait is over! I finally got around to it and boy am I pleased with the outcome. I hope that you feel the same way too.
UPDATE: Patterns are now out and part of my Freebie Friday patterns. Click the links below to be redirected to the pattern page.

Now that I have a complete set I will get to work on writing up the patterns. This will take a bit of time for the amigurumi that require needle felting so will start with the simpler ones first because I might have to create a video tutorial. (I will have to remember in future to do this the first time because now I am going to have to make another just for tutorial purposes). Luckily it’s okay because various family members have been harassing me for these amigurumis!

Please check back soon because my next instalment of Winnie the Pooh and Friends will include where you can get the patterns from. Also I know that I said that my collection would not be complete until I had Rabbit, Owl and Roo too but I think that there is just one more person missing from the collection…Christopher Robin! Yes, I have said it before but I am fairly certain this time that the collection will be complete when I add him to the collection…I don’t know when that will be though.
UPDATE: Still no Christopher Robin just yet 🙁
Until next time,
