Mrs Potts Crochet Pattern

Fortunately, I have not fallen too far behind and Cogsworth and Beast are already made, it’s just a case of crocheting second ones to fix any errors that I may have made while crocheting the first ones. Thankfully, the corrections are usually minor but due to the extensiveness of the patterns, I prefer that they are made twice for additional accuracy before I post them. I recorded a tutorial for the second Mrs Potts but just need to edit it. Once it is ready, I will post it to my Youtube channel and add a link to this post. The larger DK version is approximately 20.5 cm tall. I won’t delay you anymore so let’s just dive straight into the pattern. Materials
  • 4ply yarn (white, yellow, purple and pink)
  • 2mm crochet hook
  • Yarn needle
  • Fire retardant Fibrefill
  • Felt (claret, fushia pink, baby pink, turquoise, black and lilac)
  • Cardboard
  • Felt glue
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Blush (for the cheeks)
  • Pins (optional)
  • Stitch marker (optional)
Abbreviations
  • MR# – magic ring with the specified number of single crochets
  • SC – single crochet (double crochet English)
  • HDC – half double crochet
  • INC – single crochet increase
  • hdcINC – half double crochet increase
  • #in1 – the specified number of SC in the same stitch (i.e. 3in1)
  • DEC – invisible decrease
  • BLO – back loop only
  • FLO – row is front loop only
  • *_______* X# – repeat sequence within the asterisks the specified number of times e.g. *SC, INC* x6)
  • CH – chain stitches
  • CH1T – chain 1 stitch then turn your work
  • CC – colour change
  • SSJ – slip stitch join
  • SS – slip stitch
  • ST/STS – stitch/stitches
  • FO – fasten off
