22/06/2022 UPDATE: I have finally completed my second Cogsworth and finished recording the assembly tutorial. During the process I made some major changes to the original pattern. These changes make the pattern easier to assemble. I have updated the pattern with these changes.

My Cogsworth pattern is finally complete. I was able to record as I made the second Cogsworth (I just haven’t assembled him yet!) so there will be a tutorial available at some point in the future. However, the Mrs. Potts tutorial will be released first.
This pattern may seem complicated but like with most of my patterns it’s just a case of making lots of simple shapes and pieces, then sewing them all together to make something more complex. Overall, this is a fairly quick project that could be completed in a couple of days – depending on the time that you are able to put into it.
Using 4ply yarn (Scheepjes Catona) with a 2mm hook resulted in my Cogsworh being approximately 7 inches tall, 4 inches wide and 1.75 inches deep.

- 4ply yarn (brown, yellow/gold, beige and black)
- 2mm crochet hook
- Yarn needle
- Fire retardant Fibrefill
- Felt (medium brown, dark brown, yellow/gold, baby pink, white and black)
- Cardboard
- Felt glue
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Hot glue gun with glue
- Pins (optional)
- Stitch marker (optional)
- MR# – magic ring with the specified number of single crochets
- SC – single crochet (double crochet English)
- HDC – half double crochet
- INC – single crochet increase
- hdcINC – half double crochet increase
- #in1 – the specified number of SC in the same stitch (i.e. 3in1)
- DEC – invisible decrease
- 2TOG – decrease (non- invisible)
- BLO – back loop only
- FLO – row is front loop only
- *_______* X# – repeat sequence within the asterisks the specified number of times e.g. *SC, INC* x6)
- CH – chain stitches
- CH1T – chain 1 stitch then turn your work
- ST/STS – stitch/stitches
- FO – fasten off
