Freebie Friday: Marvin Martian Crochet Pattern

Once again, Happy Freebie Friday Good Friday!
UPDATE 21/03/2020: I have created a start to finish video tutorial for Marvin Martian which has part 1 HERE, part 2 HERE and part 3 HERE.

In today’s second post of the day, I bring you Looney Tunes Marvin Martian Pattern. It is hard to say which out of the current five patterns I have done is my favourite, but Marvin did turn out very cute and is probably the easiest out off them all to do.

As I stated in my Yosemite Sam post I am reducing the frequency of my Freebie Fridays down to every two months. I’m not sure how many people actually use my patterns but I hope this doesn’t disappoint too much. I plan on using the time it frees up for me to focus on my Etsy store and getting my original designs up. Don’t fret though, because the next Freebie Friday set is going to be Super Mario Bros. There are so many characters that it will probably have to be released in 3 waves, with the first wave coming to you the beginning of July. I intend on making it well worth the wait so stay tuned.

^ I needle felted yellow wool onto this piece to give that nice effect, but you can also attach yarn using any method such as those to attach yarn as hair for dolls^

  9. Just made this cute guy for a friend of mine who is undergoing cancer treatment. She has always loved Marvin and I thought she would love something to squish while she goes to all of her appts. Your pattern was very easy to follow and he is just the cutest thing! Thank you so much for writing all these lovely patterns down!

  12. TYVM for the pattern, Marvin Martian is my 37 yr old son’s favorite. I thought I would make him one to pop out of his stocking. I found a spaceship made from soda bottles, so we will be attempting that as well.

  18. I really like the pattern it was easy. I think you need to add at end of each section that after u finish off either stuff then see to body or how to assemble it at end. I knew what to do cause I crochet a lot of these things. Just a suggestion. But I like pattern. Thank u
