Thank you so much for your patience with the delay of this post! Fortunately, I have not fallen too far behind and Cogsworth and Beast are already made, it’s just a case of crocheting second ones to fix any errors that I may have made while crocheting the first ones. Thankfully, the corrections are usually minor but due to the extensiveness of the patterns, I prefer that they are made twice for additional accuracy before I post them.
I recorded a tutorial for the second Mrs Potts but just need to edit it. Once it is ready, I will post it to my Youtube channel and add a link to this post.
The larger DK version is approximately 20.5 cm tall.
I wonโt delay you anymore so let’s just dive straight into the pattern.
Materials
4ply yarn (white, yellow, purple and pink)
2mm crochet hook
Yarn needle
Fire retardant Fibrefill
Felt (claret, fushia pink, baby pink, turquoise, black and lilac)
Cardboard
Felt glue
Scissors
Pencil
Blush (for the cheeks)
Pins (optional)
Stitch marker (optional)
Abbreviations
MR#ย – magic ring with the specified number of single crochets
SC – single crochet (double crochet English)
HDC – half double crochet
INC – single crochet increase
hdcINC – half double crochet increase
#in1 – the specified number of SC in the same stitch (i.e. 3in1)
DEC – invisible decrease
BLO – back loop only
FLO – row is front loop only
*_______* X# – repeat sequence within the asterisks the specified number of times e.g. *SC, INC* x6)
CH – chain stitches
CH1T – chain 1 stitch then turn your work
CC – colour change
SSJ – slip stitch join
SS – slip stitch
ST/STS – stitch/stitches
FO – fasten off
