Hello everyone,
It’s been a while since I posted normal blog content on my website. I have been so focused with creating patterns and keeping up with my Patreon content that I have not had much time for anything else. My Etsy store and YouTube channel have been dormant and my Instagram page was rather sporadic up until recently. Those of you that know me will be aware that I had twins in November 2020. Even before the twins I struggled with time management. I was working full time and crocheting in my free time and even then, there were just never enough hours in the day. Thanks to the twins I have had to adapt and become a more organised person – for the sake of my sanity!
This change wasn’t instantaneous, it took a lot of trial and error. The benefits from being very organised and sticking to a schedule with the twins were mind blowing. Due to the results that I saw I also decided that the organisation would continue into my home life. I organised my kitchen cupboards, started planning my meals and even batch cooking. It has saved me so much time, money and energy. Finally, I started organising my business life and though I still wouldn’t call myself an organised person, I am already seeing results in my productivity.
So, I am happy to announce that as of now, I will start posting on a regular schedule, which will include content other than just tutorials. Content will include sneak peeks, tips, reviews and other content – including the bringing back Freebie Fridays. It will just not be every Friday. Please stay tuned for the upcoming posts.
You may be asking yourself, why the change all of a sudden?! These changes are happening because at the beginning of 2022 I decided that I was going to do more with One’s Creative Mind to actively grow my brand and hopefully one day be able to do it full time. In order to accomplish that, I have been doing to lot of research, brain storming and planning behind the scenes to figure out what it is that I want One’s Creative Mind to be all about. The first thing that I am going to focus on is having more of a social media presence, as well as diversifying my website content so that I can grow. If there is any specific content that you want to start seeing, then please just let me know by leaving a comment or contacting me privately.
I am so excited for the future and the things that are to come! I really hope to see you on this journey.
