Good afternoon!
Finally, I have finish typing up this Buzzy Beetle post. It is another 3 in one pattern just like with Toad, Toadette and Toadsworth. Using this pattern with different colour combos and a few additions you will be able to make Buzzy Beetle, Spiny and Spike Top.
The approximate measurements using DK yarn and 3mm hook are:
- Buzzy Beetle: 6.75 inches height, 3.5 inches width and 3.75 inches length/depth.
- Spiny: 6.75 inches height, 3.5 inches width and 3.75 inches length/depth.
- Spike Top: 6.75 inches height, 4.5 inches width and 4.25 inches length/depth.
I won’t ramble on today but instead, keep it short and simple. I have some catching up to do because I did not get much done over the Christmas holiday.
Materials
Buzzy Beetle: beige, navy blue, white and yellow
Spiny: red, beige, white and yellow
Spike Top: red, beige, white, yellow and orange
- 3mm crochet hook
- Yarn needle
- Fire retardant Fibrefill
- White felt
- Black felt
- Red felt
- Felt glue
- Scissors
- Pins (optional)
- Stitch marker (optional)
Abbreviations
- MR# – magic ring with the specified number of single crochets
- SC – single crochet (double crochet English)
- HDC – half double crochet (half treble crochet English)
- INC – single crochet increase
- DEC – invisible decrease
- BLO – back loop only
- FLO – row is front loop only
- *_______* X# – repeat sequence within the asterisks the specified number of times e.g. *SC, INC* x6)
- CH – chain stitches
- CH1T – chain 1 stitch then turn your work
- ST/STS – stitch/stitches
- FO – fasten off
