Arlo Doll Base PDF Showcase

Good afternoon everybody!

Introducing the Arlo doll base. Like the Avery doll base, this crochet pattern is based on a chibi body figure and the head is approximately half the size of the body height. The pattern is worked continuously (spiral) from the head down.

The doll will need a wire through the neck in order to keep the head up, but wiring the arms and legs are optional. However, I do find it a lot easier to dress the doll if it is fully wired.

The doll head has a prominent chin and the hands have defined fingers. The finished doll is fully customisable to your desired specifications for the facial features, hair and clothing.

For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you would have seen my Prince Naveen and Dr Facillier dolls. This is the base pattern that I used for them all.

The PDF download includes the crochet instructions with step-by-step pictures for the doll base only. At a later date, I will be posting step-by-step tutorials on how to customise this Arlo doll base into the various Disney Princes and even villains. The tutorial will include a PDF download with the templates for the eyes and felt prince outfits. I will also be designing various outfits for the Arlo doll – both crochet and material – which will be available at later dates in my Etsy store.
