It was my intention to release all 5 posts that are due for the month yesterday, but as most of you know the end of the year is a very busy time and I have not yet finished the final updates. The rest of the posts will be uploaded in the next couple of days. Today I am bringing you the first instalment of how-to tutorials for my Disney Princess collection – and yes, if you didn’t know already from my Winne the Pooh, Spooky Cuties, Looney Tunes and Super Mario series I am a huge sucker for sets! If I do one character, I feel compelled to do the main cast. So, I am planning on doing all twelve princesses!! – Yes! All twelve! It may take a very long time and I will most likely be doing smaller projects in between, like my Super Mario characters and some original projects. However, in the end, all the princesses, princes, villains and sidekicks will be present. In this post, I am going to show you how to turn your Avery doll base (available in my Etsy store here) to make Princess Tiana. This post will include a step guide on how to do Tiana’s hair, facial features (eyebrows, eyes and nose) and a detailed tutorial on how to make her dress. Also included is a downloadable PDF template for Tiana’s dress, which is made out of felt. BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES OF TIANA
