Happy Freebie Friday!
I am back home in the UK and as much of a great I had in Cyprus, it feels so good to be home. While some of you are thinking you must be crazy, I’m sure some of you out there know what I’m talking about.
There are a lot of tasks that need completing before September which is literally just around the corner. I need to crank up my motivational music playlist and crack on! I refuse to let my to do list defeat me. The most time consuming tasks that need to be done are my PDF’s these always take so long for me to complete. Most time is spent on the layout and trying to make it visually appealing and easy to follow. I am just hoping that with time and experience I can streamline the whole process. Fortunately with these Freebie Friday patterns – due to it not being as in depth – it doesn’t take me long to write up the pattern and add a few pictures in.

This weeks pattern is Chain Chomp. Like with my Bullet Bill I ended up using cardboard glued to the underside of chain chomps mouthpiece. This helped to maintain the shape. I consider this pattern very simple to crochet but the assembly is where you may find it more challenging. Also, I learnt a new crochet method to complete this character – the i-cord. I haven’t included a tutorial on how to do this but there are many tutorials online and here is the link to the tutorial that I used.
The approximate measurements using DK yarn and 3mm hook are 3.25 inches height, 3 inches width and 9 inches length/depth.

Your Chain Chomp is now complete. I hope that you are happy with the outcome. There are just two more characters left in this Super Mario Set One – King Bob-omb and Wiggler. Next weeks Freebie Friday pattern will be King Bob-omb. Unfortunately, I somehow managed to forget to take certain pictures but will do my best to make the tutorial easy to follow with the pictures that I have. If at any time you have trouble with any of my patterns I am always available to offer assistance.
I had previously told you that I have selected the characters that will be part of my Super Mario Set Two. I will release the names of those characters when I release my Wiggler pattern. Which will be the last pattern of the current set. Set two will begin its release at the beginning of November and run for 8 weeks.
Until next week happy crocheting!

When I originally commented I clicked the -Notify me when new surveys are added- checkbox and after this whenever a comment is added I purchase four emails using the same comment. Is there in whatever way you are able to remove me from that service? Thanks!
I’m not sure how to do that, but when you subscribe to emails there is usually a link in the email where it says click to stop receiving these emails. I hope this helps.
