Happy June!
The Mini tier pattern this month is Giggle McDimples from Toy Story.
I struggled to get the feet exactly how I wanted them, and the hair took a bit of trial and error too. I had to figure out what the best method was because I did not want it flat and wanted to recreate the same amount of volume.
For the facial features I used stiff black felt and my Silhouette cameo machine to cut them out. Due to the small fiddly nature of the facial features this was the easiest and most stress-free way for me. However, it could also be hand cut or embroidered on, how you choose to do it is entirely up to you.
Originally, I wanted to make Giggle McDimples an interactive amigurumi with a 360° rotatable head with various expressions, but I had to reign in my creativity. I must be realistic with the time that I have available so I will have to save that cool idea for another time.
With the exception to some possible tweaking of the feet, I am very happy with how Giggle turned out.
Giggle McDimples measures approximately 7 inches / 18cm tall (including the hat) and 4 inches / 10cm wide (at the widest point).
