HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
2020 was definitely an eventful year! Worldwide events such as Covid-19 and personal events such as the birth of my twins. I hope that 2021 is also an eventful year but in an abundantly positive way.
I thought it was time for me to update my pattern schedule so that you all know which patterns are being released each month. I have been busy behind the scenes trying to find my groove and get back on track while trying to juggle the babies. But who would have thought that my precious little angels would have a thing against crocheting at such an early ageโฆthey seem to instinctively know when Iโm about to sit down and crochet ๐
The minute I pick up a hook, one or both of them start to cry! However, if Iโm doing housework or just relaxing, they will sleep soundly for hours on end.
Also, with the hubby at work during the week and only home on weekends I had to make the decision to be a little bit more realistic with my goals for the New Year. I have decided that I will release two patterns a month rather than three.
Fortunately, my mum said she would come 2 days a week so I can get some crocheting, blogging and Youtubing done (who else has the best mother in the whole world?!). This will help me to keep on top of things until the babies learn to love crochet ๐
With the above in mind, below is the planned schedule of pattern releases for 2021. I have decided to put the Bowser Kids on hold temporarily and will move on to Toy Story – though I will be making them in the background if I stay ahead of schedule. My son has given me a list of characters from the newer Super Mario games that I have โforgottenโ to do ๐ so I will possibly include them in a Round 2 of Mario patterns.
I will also be finishing up my Little Mermaid set with King Triton and Ursula before moving onto Aladdin then Snow White. My Little Mermaid set on has 6 characters, so I am contemplating adding Scuttle, Max the dog and the Flotsam laterโฆwhat do you think?
For the Toy Story releases I decided to keep in order of the releases and make characters from the 1st to the 4th movie.
